In Memoriam
It is with a heavy heart
we write to you. We are deeply saddened by the loss of our
dear friend and team member, Dave King. Dave passed
Sunday, July 25 due to complications from a short but hard
fought battle with bone cancer. Dave was employed by Brancato's Catering and All Seasons Event Rental and Tent
Sales for the past 15 years. Dave joined the company as a
catering and rental event coordinator and for the past
several years has dedicated his time to our tent sales
division. Dave was vital to many aspects of the company
and had a deep passion for his work. We would like to
point out a few key contributions during his tenure.
Dave was dependable. He would work all week in the office
making sales and be one of the first people to ask what
time he should be in the next morning to help with the
operations of our busy weekend.
Dave never
failed to show up on a Chiefs Sunday to manage as many as
12 events at one time. He was instrumental in maintaining
proper food temperatures of as many as 6000 plated meals
at one time. Dave would never fail to impart his knowledge
to the younger staff members and everyone had something to
learn from Dave.
In the
rental division of the company, we knew that when Dave was
on a job site, things would be done properly. His depth of
knowledge in tents carried over to his ability to
sell tents which greatly contributed to the success of our
tent sales division.
Dave was
one of the most loyal employees we have had and he will be
sorely missed by his fellow team members. Heaven is well
shaded with a 40x60 tent, a hot buffet meal and Dave
sitting back watching the Chiefs play. By the way, his
prediction for the season is 8 and 8. |
